As

customized solutions, both in new fixtures and retrofit, we
are committed to providing energy efficient lighting solutions
for our customers
Lighting
Alternatives, Inc. utilizes innovative technologies to manufacture
high quality, cost effective lighting products that offer an
immediate return on investment through the benefits they provide.
Lighting
Alternatives, Inc. is a manufacturer of energy efficient luminaires
geared toward the saving of energy through the use of lower
input watts while achieving maximum levels of light output.
Our product
lines include luminaires utilizing T8, T5HO, and High Lumen
Output Compact Fluorescent Lamps. Our luminaires are designed
to be an alternate to or replace Metal Halide, Mercury Vapor,
High Pressure Sodium, and High Wattage Incandescent, as well
as Strip and Industrial HO and VHO fluorescent fixtures.
We use
the most up to date lighting technologies to make it economically
feasible to be an alternate to, or retrofit of older technologies,
thus reducing utility bills. Common energy savings range from
50% to 85% when compared to existing fixtures.
Paybacks
can be realized anywhere from 12 to 36 months. Very often, an
entire retrofit project can be accomplished with no out of pocket
monies, as many Utilities offer programs, which pay for these
types of retrofits.
Benefits
of Fluorescent over H.I.D. include Instant On/Off (no re-strike
time), Stepped and Full Dimming for added savings and the flexibility
of controlled light levels. Luminaires can easily be used with
Photosensors and/or occupancy sensors to further maximize energy
savings and provide flexibility and provide higher CRI for a
greatly increased quality of light. Lamp color and light output
remain constant over the life of the lamp, and the Ultraviolet
Radiation associated with Metal Halide lamps is eliminated.
Lastly, luminaries are Sound Rated "Class A" so there
is no annoying ballast hum as with most H.I.D. fixtures. This
is really helpful in Multi-Purpose Rooms, Lecture Halls, Libraries,
and Theatres where ballast noise would be a problem.
